Ding, Dong the Witch Is . . . Beaming?

I'm not on board yet with the Republican crossover strategy to keep the Clinton campaign alive.

I get it. Republicans in Texas voted for Clinton to keep Obama from finishing her off. Now they can hack at each other for a few months and leave the winner damaged for the fall.

But I cringed when I picked up the Wednesday morning paper and saw a beaming, radiant Hillary Clinton. I looked forward to the end of the Clinton era.

The Obama bubble can be popped. It already has to some degree. And we haven't even gotten to his hard-left policy positions.

Maybe it's true that no force could fillet Obama like the Clinton campaign, but if I could write the script, I'd keep it simple and take my chances with Obama.

I have to disagree with you on this one. IMHO, McCain has a slim chance of beating Clinton in the general. McCain has almost no chance of beating Obama. In terms of ideology, there isn't much of a difference between Clinton or Obama. They are both classic liberal socialists. Conservatives better start praying that McCain gets to run against the one with already almost 50% negatives, no charisma and likely to have seriously reduced support among black voters.
