Sniper Murder More Troubling than Von Maur?

The shooting at the fast food drive-through in Florence is perhaps more troubling than the Von Maur shootings.

At Von Maur, a severely dysfunctional person from a shattered family took his anger out on society. I'm not excusing it, but I can make sense of it. And some of the adults in his life showed amazingly bad judgment.

When I first heard of the drive-through murder, I figured a crack addict decided that someone at a drive-through had money and had it out and available.

A long-range rifle shot? I hope to learn that the sniper was a mess. I don't want to believe that a "normal" person can treat other people like targets in a video game.
